    “I used to think missionaries and evangelists are crazy and they are shameful jobs. I doubted the power of transformation God did in my Christian friends who did DTSes. I lived most of my Christian life out of tradition and came to my DTS just for adventure. During the lecture phase, I became uneasy over the excitement that were around me, that led me to question myself what I was doing there and who God was in my life. However, on hindsight reading through my journal, I saw how the “I-don’t-hear-God’s-voice” answers turn into “maybe-God-is-saying-this” answers. Outreach phase came too quickly and I was not ready to go out and tell people about the God that I was still so unsure of, but God was patient with me and blessed me with a great team who spurred my growth throughout all of my outreach. I grew leaps and bounds in my faith during outreach until I eventually decided to get baptised and dedicate my life to the cause of Christ. I have forsaken the past life and am on fire for Jesus! DTS was the best six months of my life. ‘God is faithful.’ It is cliché but this is my reality of God because God kept pursuing me even though I was not looking for Him.”
